1. Acceptance of terms
By creating an account or using Deal Detective, you agree to these Terms of Use.
2. Nature of the service
Deal Detective is not a marketplace and is not the seller of any item shown in the app. We surface listings from approved sources and provide analysis to help you make your own purchasing decisions.
3. Estimates, not guarantees
- The Deal Detective Rating, estimated market value, potential profit, confidence, and urgency indicators are estimates only, generated by an automated analysis process.
- We do not guarantee the accuracy of any estimate, the authenticity or condition of any item, the availability of any listing, or any resale outcome.
- You are responsible for independently verifying any listing, including inspecting the item and communicating with the seller, before purchasing.
4. Your responsibilities
- You are responsible for complying with the terms of any third-party marketplace or platform where you view or purchase a listed item.
- You must not use the service for any unlawful purpose.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of information you submit, including purchase records and feedback.
5. Data sources
Deal Detective will only use listing sources and data collection methods that we are authorised to use, such as official APIs, authorised data feeds, or listings entered directly by users and administrators. We do not operate unauthorised scraping of third-party platforms as a commercial feature.
6. Subscriptions and billing
Paid plans, where enabled, are billed in advance on a recurring basis via our payment processor. You can cancel at any time from your account settings; access continues until the end of the current billing period.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Deal Detective is not liable for any loss arising from your reliance on analysis, ratings, or estimates provided through the service, or from any transaction you enter into with a third-party seller.
8. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
